How I feel when I am living the steps…

the steps are healing… if you listen to your own advice you’re talking to the enemy… today I have a quiet heart and peace of mind… don’t piss on anybody’s burning bush… this chip, is not to lock the door to your past; but to unlock the door to your future… when you shortcut on the steps, you are poking holes in your own lifeboat… learn to act your way into right-thinking… if you have one finger pointing out there are three pointing back to you… don’t make me call the AA police… kindness is relatively inexpensive, when compared to rudeness … don’t drink if you’r ass falls off… Time takes time… the first 164 pages are unchanged for a reason… the stories are stories they are not directions… working with others is a necessity not an option… you have to give it away to keep it… keep AA, AA in order to succeed the alcoholic must conform to the program, not the other way around…. slips are not a part of recovery, slips are part of the disease ; you can’t keep having slips and get well… alcohol makes me think I is whatI ain’t,(Ross )… opinions are like assholes, everybody has one… my best thinking bought me drink… what you do outweighs what you say… I don’t have to like it.  I just have to do it… it’s hard to live life of rigorous honesty based on deceit… today I walk on the sunny side of the street… trust God clean house help others… listen to learn when your mouth is open your ears and shout… don’t confuse apathy with tolerance, the simple rule is, change or die the same man will drink again… the big book says it, I believe it, that settles it.
