Tomorrows my favorite meeting the Buena Vista, we meet at the church on  Sunnyside.  I think what I like most about that meeting is that we just tell our own story, we don’t try to fix other people; sometimes we give advice, but we try not to.

I heard a topic on intervention and the difference between interventions and Alcoholics Anonymous.  In Alcoholics Anonymous we share our story, we tell you what alcohol did to our lives.  We don’t shame you or embarrass you, at least not on purpose….

Alcoholism is a disease, when you have it you have the darn thing for life.  And, through Alcoholics Anonymous we learn, not how to get rid of the disease, we learn how to live with it and to live happily.  I hope you join us on this road happy destiny; we walk in sunshine, sleep in peace, awaken with anticipation.
